The rooftop bar is taking shape: Focus on the glass walls, facade, and seminar rooms
Construction Diary, Part 9: Further Construction Progress at the Hotel Seven Villach
Work is continuing on our construction site. Progress is particularly evident at the future rooftop bar: The large glass facades have already been installed, offering a first glimpse of what this special area will look like later on.
The expansive glass walls offer an impressive panoramic view of Villach and the surrounding mountains, including the Mittagskogel, Dobratsch, and Gerlitzen. You can already get a sense of the atmosphere that will take shape here in the future and why the rooftop bar is one of the highlights of our renovation.
Intensive work is also underway on the exterior facade. The substructure for the modern Alucobond facade is currently being installed. It will serve as the foundation for the subsequent facade cladding and will significantly shape the architectural appearance of the expanded Hotel Seven.
New seminar rooms are taking shape
At the same time, construction of our new seminar rooms continues to move forward. The future facilities are taking shape, and starting in the spring of 2027, they will offer additional opportunities for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and corporate events in Villach.
With state-of-the-art technical equipment, flexible room layouts, and modern design, we are significantly expanding our existing range of seminar offerings. This will make the Hotel Seven even more versatile for business events and private celebrations in the future.
Milo Restaurant: The existing building and the addition will be connected
A major construction phase is also underway at Restaurant Milo. A wall will be knocked through to connect the existing restaurant area with the newly built addition. This will create more space for our guests and offer additional opportunities for an enjoyable dining experience.
The work is carefully planned and coordinated so that hotel and restaurant operations can continue with as little disruption as possible. The construction work is largely carried out away from the guest areas, so that our guests are affected as little as possible by the work.
Another step toward spring 2027
With the latest progress, the planned completion date in spring 2027 is drawing a little closer. The new glass facades of the rooftop bar, the start of work on the exterior design, the renovation of the seminar rooms, and the expansion of the restaurant all demonstrate how Hotel Seven is evolving step by step.
