Construction Diary, Part 5: The Third Floor Continues to Take Shape

Progress is clearly visible at our construction site. The exterior of the new third floor of Hotel Seven is now clearly visible and shows more and more clearly how our building will change as a result of the renovation.

The area designated for the future rooftop bar is particularly exciting right now. The building is still under construction, but the first outlines are already visible. The wooden structure is in place, and the unobstructed views give a glimpse of the special place that will take shape here—above the rooftops of Villach, with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains.

Inside the new floor as well, everything is taking shape step by step. Rooms are becoming recognizable, pathways are taking form, materials are being installed, and the plans are increasingly becoming a reality. The combination of wood, steel, and plenty of light, in particular, already gives a sense of just how modern yet warm this new space will feel.

For us, this phase of construction is a special milestone. The expansion is no longer just visible on blueprints—it’s right there on the building itself. With every beam, every wall, and every new vantage point, our anticipation for what’s taking shape at Hotel Seven grows.
