In the coming months, Hotel Seven, led by the Aleksic family, will set a significant milestone for the Villach region and its guests through a comprehensive renovation project with an investment of 5.5 million euros.
The renovation will expand the range of services to appeal to a broader audience: vacationers, business travelers, and locals. The goal is to boost the regional economy while incorporating sustainable solutions.
Details of the changes
With the addition of a new floor to the hotel, designed by the renowned architectural firm Trecolore, 16 modern guest rooms will be created on the new third floor, enhancing the comfort of our guests.
A particular highlight will be the new rooftop bar, designed to serve as a gathering place for the region and featuring a modern design and a unique view. In addition, a spacious wellness area will be created and the fitness area expanded to offer a comprehensive range of wellness services.
The number of seminar rooms will be expanded from the current two to six modern, state-of-the-art rooms equipped with the latest technology and designed to meet individual needs. This flexibility allows for both small meetings for up to 8 people and large events with up to 120 participants.
The interior design firm köck + bachler is responsible for the entire interior design.
To increase operational efficiency and improve working conditions for employees, the kitchen and logistics area will also be expanded. In addition, the buffet area will be expanded to provide more space for the varied breakfast offerings and to give guests more room to move around.
What makes this concept unique
The renovation is based on a holistic concept that appeals to vacationers, business travelers, and locals alike, with a focus on sustainability.
Environmental sustainability
The use of wood and steel in the construction, along with eco-friendly wood chip heating, minimizes the building’s environmental footprint. Energy is generated by a photovoltaic system.
Regional Support
Collaborating with local businesses strengthens the regional economy and creates a gathering place for locals.
Social Responsibility
Great importance is placed on improving working conditions for employees in order to establish the hotel as a major employer in the region.
The renovation will not only delight guests but also make a positive contribution to the region’s continued development,
said hotel manager Dean Aleksic.
